Add context to your boards with welcome screens

When sharing a board to gather feedback or brainstorm ideas, providing clear direction to participants is key to maintaining focus. With welcome screens, it's simple. You can greet participants and provide instructions as soon as they get to your board.

To set up a welcome screen for any board, click the hand wave icon at the top of your board editor. This takes you to a rich editor where you can customize the content.

Welcome screens support various formatting options, allowing you to style text, include bulleted or numbered lists, embed YouTube videos, insert links, and more – just type "/" to bring up the command menu.

Once you've added your content, toggle the switch to enable it. Upon landing on your board for the first time, participants will see the welcome screen. After they close it, it won't automatically reappear, but they can bring it back up by clicking on the hand wave icon next to the board title.
