Medley is in (free) beta

We're pleased to announce that Medley is now available for beta signups! It's free during beta, so go ahead and give it a try. Getting started takes just a couple of minutes.

But first things first – what is Medley?

Finding the right tool to collect and riff on feedback with focused groups of people can be challenging. Surveys work well for quantitative feedback at scale, but are siloed and suffer from low response rates. Slack and Discord are useful for quick conversations, but lack structure and get chaotic. Virtual whiteboards are good for internal collaboration, but are a heavy lift for partners like users and customers. And we're all already overscheduled when it comes to calls.

That's where Medley comes in. Medley is a more collaborative, structured and async way to capture feedback and brainstorm with the people who matter most (think beta users, key customers, etc).

So how does it work? It's simple.

1. Create a board – Picture something thing that looks like a Kanban board, except instead of being oriented around tasks, Medley is focused on thoughts and ideas.

2. Add prompts – These are like signposts that keep discussions on track. Each column on your board will have a prompt to guide the conversation.

3. Share your board – Invite people via email or a simple web link. Whether they're external (like customers or partners) or internal (your team), anyone can join a board.

4. Collaborate in real-time or asynchronously – Once on the board, everyone can chime in with their thoughts. You can add cards with rich content, dig into details with comments, and vote on ideas.
